Multi-instrumentalist Alexander Morris is the moniker of the electronic-pop artist, Distant Matter. Distant Matter brings a textured, glossy, and effulgent sound to the electronic pop scene pulling from inspirations such as Louis The Child, Flume, and The Chainsmokers.

In just 2 years of releasing music Morris has garnered over 2 million streams across all platforms. His live performances are just as impressive, selling out two shows in Toronto as a headliner, and opening for artists such as The Kid Laroi, ZEDD, Post Malone, Laszewo, and Bryce Vine.

Morris just released his debut EP ‘Iridescent’ in September of 2022. The project is comprised of five tracks which tap into feelings of euphoria blended with an emotional current. Morris is currently working on a collection of singles which he plans to release over the duration of 2023.
